Three movements, like learning a song.

Each card shows the Arabizi spelling and English translation. The Arabic appears faded — your guide, not the answer.

02
اطبَع

Type it

Use a real Arabic keyboard if you have one, or our onscreen one. Every key shows its English shortcut.

03

Words you stumble on come back. Pronunciation by native speakers. No streaks, no badges, no nonsense.

Set up your keyboard

One small system tweak — and your laptop speaks Arabic.

Every OS ships with an Arabic keyboard layout built in. Follow our three-minute guides to switch it on, learn the standard 101 layout, and toggle between scripts with a keyboard shortcut.

The Arabizi bridge

What is Arabizi?

Arabizi (or “Franco-Arabic”) writes Arabic with Latin letters and numerals — the digits stand in for sounds English can't spell. We use it as a phonetic bridge so you can read a word before you can read the script.
